Frequently Asked Questions

Engaging our firm means stepping into a comprehensive, guided path towards retirement, where you’ll receive detailed retirement projection modeling, ongoing portfolio management, and annual updates to your financial plan. We incorporate tax preparation and regular yearly meetings into our services, ensuring you’re well-informed and your strategy remains up-to-date with any life changes or regulatory shifts. Beyond investment management, we offer extensive consultations on various financial matters including estate planning and educational funding, providing a holistic approach to support you throughout your retirement journey.

Not at all. Our engagement typically begins with a thorough retirement income modeling process. This initial stage focuses solely on retirement planning and does not include or require investment management services. Most clients who start with this retirement planning process are looking for a trusted partner and often choose to delegate investment management. If, during our planning discussions, we find that our services align well with your needs, then you can opt to extend our relationship. This extended service would then include ongoing investment management, regular plan updates, tax planning, and coordination of various financial matters. However, the decision to utilize these additional services is completely up to you.

Our pricing includes an initial comprehensive planning sessions fee of approximately $3,900, which covers an in-depth analysis and personalized retirement planning. Following this, our asset management services adopt a tiered fee structure: 1.25% on the first $1 million, 0.75% for the next $2 million, 0.5% for the subsequent $2 million, and 0.25% for assets above $5 million. This approach ensures cost-effectiveness and transparency, aligning our services with your growing financial needs.

Our tax services, while priced separately, are designed to complement our wealth management offerings. They are particularly suited for clients with more complex financial situations who benefit from a coordinated approach to wealth and tax management. Our tax services start at a minimum fee of $750, with the final cost varying depending on each client’s specific needs and the intricacy of their financial circumstances. Importantly, we offer reductions or even waive these fees based on the level of assets you have under our management. This structure ensures that our tax services integrate seamlessly with our comprehensive wealth management solutions, providing added value to our clients.

Yes, Trust services involve managing and overseeing trust accounts, which are legal arrangements allowing a third party, or trustee, to hold assets on behalf of a beneficiary. Trusts can offer various benefits, including estate planning, tax advantages, and ensuring your assets are managed and distributed according to your wishes.

We partner with several reputable companies to offer comprehensive trust services. These include BOK Financial Trust Services, Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB, Capital First Trust Company, Peak Trust Company, and Wealth Advisors Trust Company. Each of these organizations brings unique strengths and specializations, ensuring a wide range of options for our clients.

Choosing the right provider depends on your specific needs and goals. Our team can guide you through the selection process, taking into account factors like the type of trust, the size of your estate, and any special considerations such as family dynamics or business interests.
